6 Facebook Group Features Coaches Should Be Using (But Aren't)

Facebook groups come with a pile of features most coaches never touch. The ones who book the most clients use a handful of them deliberately. Here are the six worth turning on, and what each one does for your coaching business.

1. Membership questions

Three to five questions that screen for ideal clients and surface the people you can help the moment someone joins. This is the most valuable feature in your group, full stop.

2. The pinned welcome post

A welcome that tells new arrivals exactly what to do: introduce yourself, grab the free resource, join the conversation. The pinned post is the difference between a member who joins and a member who participates.

3. Live video

The highest-trust, highest-reach format you have. Go live inside the group, answer questions, and invite the next step when it fits. The Coaching Client System helps you keep those conversations going.

4. Units (for a starter guide)

Group units let you create a 'Start here' path, a small onboarding sequence of posts that new members walk through in order. It is a mini-course inside your group, and it warms people up for free.

5. Group badges

Badges like 'Founding Member' or 'Rising Star' reward contribution and give your most engaged members a reason to keep showing up. Small lever, real effect on culture.

6. Scheduled posts

Schedule your weekly rituals in advance so consistency does not depend on your motivation. Pair with RMM, and the follow-up is handled even when the post is scheduled.

The features are free. The difference is whether you use them on purpose.
