Facebook Group vs Page for Coaches: Which One Actually Gets Clients?

Facebook Group vs Page for Coaches: Which One Actually Gets Clients?
Share

If you have ever wondered whether you should focus on your Facebook group or your Facebook page, it is the wrong question. The coaches getting the best results use both. But they use them for completely different jobs, and they connect them deliberately.

What each one is actually for

Your page is a billboard. It is where your offers live, where your best teaching content is archived, and where people go to confirm you are a real business. Your group is a community. It is where strangers become familiar, where familiar becomes trust, and where trust becomes a booking.

  • Page: your storefront, your offers, your credibility.
  • Group: your community, your conversations, your conversions.
  • Profile: your front door, the first thing people see when they hear your name.

The reason most pages feel dead

Pages have poor organic reach. That is not a bug, it is the design. Meta wants pages to pay for distribution. So if you are pouring your energy into posting to an empty page, you will feel like you are shouting into the void, because you basically are.

Groups, by contrast, still get meaningful organic reach because every member sees the group in their feed and gets notified about new posts. That is why your group is where your audience actually grows.

The right way to use both

Use your group to build the audience and start the conversations. Use your page as the destination, the place you send people when they want to go deeper, see your offers, or book. Your profile is the bridge between the two: it is the personal, human face that makes both feel real.

When you layer the Coaching Client System on top, the page and group stop being separate and start feeding one flow: group conversation, profile credibility, page offer, booked call, with RMM handling the enquiry and the follow-up in between.

Your page is your storefront. Your group is your living room. Do not make people shop in the living room.
