Monetising a Facebook group gets a bad name because most people do it backwards. They treat the group as a billboard for offers instead of a place where relationships are built. The coaches who monetise well do the opposite: they lead with community and let offers show up as service.
An offer only feels salesy when it shows up uninvited. If you have spent weeks helping someone in the group, the moment they say 'I wish I could just hand this to someone who knows what they are doing', that is the invitation. Your offer is the answer to a question they have already asked.
When a member shares a struggle you can help with, reply in the group first, genuinely, then ask permission before you move to messages:
I have got a couple of ideas, but I do not want to turn the comments into an essay. Would you like me to send them in a PM?
From the PM, once they have said yes to help, you can offer a resource or, if it genuinely fits, a short call. It never feels pushy because they asked for it.
The part that breaks down for most coaches is the keeping track. You have the conversation, you mean to circle back, and life happens. The Coaching Client System with RMM helps with that: when someone is ready to take a next step, the enquiry form, the contacts and the follow-up are already set up. So the relationship you built in the group actually moves forward instead of becoming a 'one day'.
Sell the outcome. Give the help for free. Let the system help with the remembering.
Feeling stuck on any of this? A quick, no-pressure 15-minute call is the easiest way to get unstuck and see if my 1:1 help or RMM could be a fit. It is not a free coaching session, and there is no hard pitch.
Book a quick, no-pressure 15-minute call. It isn't a free coaching session and there's no hard pitch, just an honest look at where you're stuck and whether my 1:1 help or RMM could be a fit for where you are right now.
